Definition
A plant stress trait (TO:0000164) which is the response of a plant structure (PO:0009011) to biotic plant stress (PSO:0000011). Source: PO:0009011, Gramene:pankaj_jaiswal, TO:Laurel_Cooper, PSO:0000011
Comment
Plant biotic stress traits may be manifested in either the whole plant (PO:0000003) or in parts of the plant, as a result of the exposure to a biotic plant stress (PSO:0000011). Responses to biotic plant stresses may vary from resistance to susceptibility, with varying levels of tolerance. Biotic stresses are those resulting from living factors such as microorganisms, animals (including insects, arachnids and nematodes) or other plants.
