Definition
A protein complex that is composed of an interleukin-12 alpha (p35, product of the IL12A gene) and an interleukin-12 beta subunit (p40, product of the IL12B gene) and is secreted into the extracellular space. Source: PMID:12948519, GOC:add, GOC:mah, GOC:ebc, PMID:1381512
