A trait to measure percent nitrogen concentration in the stover sample used for predicting crude protein (CP) content of stover by multiplication with a factor of 6.25 (CP = N x 6.25). This concentration is one of the criteria to assess the quality of fodder. Value derived from the analysis of stover using Near Infrared Reflectance Spectrophotometry (NIRS).
